Suez Canal Insurance Company
Suez Canal Insurance Company was established in October 1979 as the first private sector insurance company in Egypt, under the umbrella of the Arab Contractors and the Suez Canal Authority. Since then, the company has been providing distinguished insurance services for national projects, private sector projects, and investments in various fields.
The company extends its branches to 29 branches across all governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, serving over 220,000 clients across various sectors.

Suez Canal Insurance
Suez Canal Insurance Company has obtained the verification certificate for its "Carbon Footprint" report in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 standards. The certificate was granted following a measurement and auditing process conducted by ISSC (Integrated Sustainable Solutions), officially accredited by EGAC, IAF, and FRA.
This step comes in response to the decision of the Financial Regulatory Authority's Board of Directors No. (36) for the year 2026, which mandates non-banking financial companies and institutions to disclose their carbon emissions, enhancing environmental governance practices and mitigating financial impacts (ESG).
Thus, Suez Canal Insurance is among the first insurance companies in the Egyptian market to obtain this official accreditation, reflecting the company's commitment to aligning with the state's Vision 2030 for environmental preservation, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, and increasingly relying on renewable energy sources.
