Types of Transit Insurance Policies
Comprehensive coverage for goods during transit
Marine or Air Transit Policy
This policy covers the goods according to the conditions issued by the Institute of London Underwriters (ILU).
Institute Cargo Clauses (A) - All Risks
This insurance covers all risks of losses or damages to the subject matter insured until arrival to the final destination (port or warehouse).

- Both to Blame Collision
Institute Cargo Clauses (B)
This insurance covers loss or damage reasonably attributable to:
- Fire or Explosion
- Vessel or craft being stranded, grounded, sunk or capsized
- Overturning or derailment of land conveyance
- Collision or contact of vessel, craft or conveyance with any external object other than water
- Discharge of cargo at a port of distress
- Earthquake, volcanic eruption or lightning
- General Average sacrifice
- Jettison or washing overboard
- Entry of sea, lake or river water into vessel, craft, hold, conveyance, container, liftvan or place of storage

This insurance covers loss or damage reasonably attributable to:
- Fire or Explosion

This policy covers the goods according to the conditions issued and approved by the Insurance Federation of Egypt.
Inland Clauses
This policy covers only total &/or partial loss and physical damage caused to the subject matter insured due to:

- Overturning, collision and sinking of the carrying conveyance
Comprehensive Inland Clauses
Covers inland clauses in addition to:
- Dropping of the goods as a result of the truck tilting without overturning
